What we did to Iraq - America's shame

Just to be clear though - this is almost entirely a shame of Republican making: both the war and the current policy.

Ummmm. You might want to check into the lowest thing done by the "US". Clinton sent cruise 700 missiles at Iraq when the Lewinski related impeachment went down, for no other reason than to create another news story that day.

The Operation Infinite Reach attacks became known as "Monica's War" among TV news people, due to the timing. ABC-TV announced to all stations that there would be a special report following Lewinsky's testimony before Congress, then the special report was pre-empted by the report of the missile attacks. The combination of the timing of that attack and Operation Desert Fox led to accusations of a Wag the Dog situation.

Don't forget Madeline Albright saying that it was fine for 500,000 Iraq child deaths.

Don't play partisan hack politics. Blood on both sides of the aisle.

If you are going to make up your own revisionist history of what the Iraq government wanted at least get the acronym right: status of forces agreement

I meant status. But thanks for correcting my error.
