his determination really. not the most gifted but he really pushed himself to achieve what he did

i was more of a fan of him before he was the champ. not a fan of him since he's the champ.

His heart. He isn't the strongest or have one punch knock out power. But he seems to get the job done. What we call in Texas "GRIT".

It's alot of things. Michael Bisping loves to fight, I think that's a big part of the foundation of his success. He kept going and going, getting better and better, and now here he is.

His cardio is very good. He's got a good chin and a good feel for how to survive in rough spots. And Left Hook Larry.

Well, in a era where GOATs have pissed hot or just ran from the sport only to return to cash in on sponsors being pulled (check Sonnen podcast), Bisping is one of the only goats left. He has fought the best. He only loses to roiders, guys on gear, cheaters, etc. with few exceptions. He was ducked by the UFC for over a decade. How the fuck Leites got a title fight or Cote before bisping is mind boggling.

    + 1

He is always counted out and he continues to improve later in his career which is astonishing. Given, the deterioration of all great sport athletes. Time is unfriendly to athletes the way it is to women and their aesthetics or lack there of. Bisping has a resting heart rate of 30. Its unreal.

He should have not fought for the title,he got a title shot only because the real contender got injured. He would have never gotten one if he faced a top 5 before fighting for the title like anybody else.

Agreed but they handed him the ball and he ran with it. He knocked out the champion and we can't take that away from him.

I think it's his work ethics --> cardio. And his desire to make the most in his career.

Yeah, I am not aproving all he's done (inside but mostly outside the octagon), but I've always been a fan. I don't get how anyone with just a little bit of sense of humor doesn't like his jokes. He's the funniest guy in the history of MMA in my opinion. WAR BISPING!

I was just responding to "toughest path to title shot". That award probably goes to RDA who actually deserved his TS. Bisping was just in the right place at the right time and had his luck.

RDA is a good one too. Bisping was around a long time and got close several times only to lose a title eliminator before finally getting a short notice shot.

He’s one of the best technical boxers on the entire roster and in his division along with Gastelum if he stays at MW and Bobby Knuckles.

A good fighter but by no means great. He has beaten one excellent fighter (Rockhold) and lost every other fight against top competition.
