What is your Profession?

I'm a body-double who specializes in dangerous stunts performed in porn. You could say that I'm a stunt c***.

Do you do events? What part of AV are you doing?

Yes, I take care of AV needs of various events we do, usually internal, but sometimes external/public.
From screening of content (presentations/videos/etc) to working with hotel/theater staff, planning, setup, and the actual running of AV during events and rehearsals.

That's what I do too! High five!

Pretty much.

Hired thug of the racist, capitalist, oppressive majority-based socio-economical establishment.

Or, as I like to say, "specialist in urban crisis management."

Groundhog senior technician

But does that make you an "expert?"

Nice!
The majority of events i do involve my CEO or COO or both. High profile, high risk/reward. I pity my managers, if they ever want to get rid of me, they'd have to ask for permission, lol.

I do keynote speeches for CVPs mostly. Sometimes I do consumer experiential events too, but those are hands-on demos with potential buyers and partners.

Very high-risk. Before he left the company, I always did the "fedora guy" speeches. Do you get to travel a lot too?

Not really.
I have a yearly event that my COO hosts in Miami that i goto. THis year in a swanky hotel right on South Beach, so looking forward to that.
But the vast majority of events i do are in various NYC hotels, theaters, or meeting venues.

I work for a media company, and my AV/events responsibility falls under my executive support responsibilities.
