He’s getting outboxed and punched from every angle and he never fucking wobbles!
Canelo is a slap happy puncher. He needs to use his knuckles.
Damn! That guy is busting all over his chin
Golovkin's chin is very good. He gets hit and then shakes his head at Canelo.
But in the 12th round, it was surprising how Golovkin was bleeding. Canelo threw at a high pace and was getting his hooks in.
What about Canelo's chin though. Has he ever been wobbled?
Been wobbled earlier in his career and was quite stunned/hurt wit GGGs right in a late round. Maybe 9 i think.
He showed a great chin and ability to avoid follow up damage, but he looked more bothered than GGG. He had a good scare in rounds 9-10-11.
Canelo really got to GGG. Some of these hooks and one-two’s were solid. His face showed but his legs were apparently unphased.
He didnt seem to mind
Is that why GGG was all lumped up ?? Slaps ??
They both have great chins, what a fucking fight.
Exactly, they both were throwing bombs....
but Opie didn’t seem bothered by triple Gs power at all... even less than the first outing.
Canelo goes back and forth with slaps, and knuckle punches. Typically his left hook or check hook has been more of a slap. Watch carefully at which part of the hand he hits him with, it often times is the palm for that punch.
Two complete badasses with brass balls.
Such a beast! He took some crazy shots late in the fight that put away most guys.
That’s the best boxing match I’ve seen in years
Using this logic, GGG must hit like a bitch. Because the only damage Canelo had was a cut over the eye that usually comes from a grazing punch or a head butt. Canelo is not a slap boxer. Adrian Broner however, is. Stop being a hater. Canelo is in his prime and is a small middleweight with balls of steel.
Why make the argument a personal attack? lol I am not hating. Perhaps I said something that offends you being that you are presumably a Canelo fan? Neither of these fighters pay my bills, my bias for either is not that strong.
I am making an observation that others have made as well, not that I need validation from anyone else. However, there is some truth to it. Watch his fight, this one and the first one. Observe his left hook. He does slap at times; especially when using the check hook to pivot off the ropes. He makes contact with the palm of his hand which is the definition of a slap:
1 A blow with the palm of the hand or a flat object."
I don't know about Canelo's balls but he is a great fighter, one of the best. No one argued that he wasn't. It was a good matchup.
