What is extremely outdated and needs a massive change?

I get that this is the current trendy argument but communism in any practical real world application will always end in totalitarianism, and rather quickly so
Completely accurate, certainly on a Nation/State level

For smaller things like communes, or socieites that existed pre Industrial Revolution it could theoretically work (one could argue many of the Collectivist Native American societies had communisitic elements within them)....

But any time it happens on a national level, for the 'proletarian unite' ish to happen there has to be a leader.....when they achieve that revolution, without fail, that leader is not going to step down and give away all that power and influence

And that's not even getting into how industry would work regarding things like Patents, Copyrights etc.. that already exist.

So does capitalism. There is always somebody hungry for power. Money is power. Those who would make the best leaders are the ones who don't want the job. The ones who do the worst job are the ones money can buy.

Guys paying for everything; dinner, dates, ring, wedding, wedding dress, being the main provider, etc. You want gender equality? start by picking up a goddamn check every now and then.

Fucking sense of entitlement women have. We have to be the providers, we have to make them laugh, we have to dress nice, we have to pay for everything, we have to keep them safe. I'm not against doing any of that, but how about we start talking about what they bring to the table too? You can't even ask them too lose weight or look nice cause you're an asshole, you can't expect them to do the dishes anymore cause it's sexist, etc. That doesn't sound like a fair deal to me.

Yeah, like you'd be doing any of that shit if a woman didn't bring anything to the table. Or are you telling me you're a philanthropist under legal obligation to provide butler service to womankind for free? Cos you make it sound like you don't have a choice in the matter of how you handle and negotiate your relationships...

At the risk of being an unpopular opinion, I think this is actually beneficial.

Guys end up having a LOT of skills. A lot more than the average woman.

If you name the top comedians, no one ever names a woman. We'll say George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Johnny Carson, etc.

Once again, the richest people on Earth are Men!

Men are forced to be skillful to attract women, women just have to have vaginas and be the slightest bit doable. These skills end up building character.

Any idealogy pushed to a simplistic extreme is IMHO likely to have very serious flaws and if you look at the world toward I would say its far closer to purer capitalism than it is communism. The reality is that people like Sanders and Corbyn are pushing what would have been relatively unremarkable ideas economically 40 years ago before the dominance of free market capitalism took hold.

As far examples of communism go you could argue a bit issue is whether it took place, Russia, China, Cuba, etc all had revolutions due to the lack of democracy and extreme wealth inequality, it wasn't really supprising that what followed was a continuation of brutal authoritarian rule that actually bore little resemble to theoretical communist ideas.

This. You cannot have a system that is based on altruism to any degree. That’s why capitalism works so well. It is based on the assumption that people will do what is best for them (at least what they think is best) and try to maximize their utility. Pure capitalism doesn’t work the best, but most modern western economies are mixed economies - capitalism with some socialism.

Traffic lights. I think they have used the same antiquated system for my whole 52 years on this earth. Surely they can come up with a system that is "smarter" and faster.
At least sync the motherfuckers up on major roads.

Teeth. We should lose and get new teeth more than once in our lives.

Organized religion. And by massive change i mean it needs to be done away with.
It wont ever go away. It will just contract to something more locally organized. Even then churches/temples/shrines to Lolth will band together with those of similar belief. Just on a much smaller scale. You cant really get rid of the rights of individuals to meet together in groups and worship in an organized fashion.

Though in your totalitarian vision, I see the rise of paganism. Especially the varieties that are better suited to solo worship at home.

religion.

3,000 year old earth? seriously? you have to be borderline retarded to believe that. oh, and the rapture? full out idiot is a pre-req for belief in that one.

i won't even get into islam and their stone age rules and worshiping a meteor in mecca.

if none of these religions are willing to change within, they will be changed by external forces.
I think the numbers of people who believe in young earth and shrinking. I have never believed it. Forcing change by external forces is called tyranny.

I like that my body regulates my body temperature personally
I think he meant clothing that would automatically adjust its temp to keep him at specific temperature. So that if he is in a building it keeps him comfortable, but goes outside into the snow it warms up. The body, no matter how much it may or may not regulate temperature, does not keep people feeling warm in the cold or feeling cool in the heat. He wants cloths to always make him feel comfortable with out the need to add or subtract layers.
