He is part of a current ad on a Halifax radio station, Live 105.1, where he calls himself "UFC Fighter TJ Grant" when promotion the product. So, he might still be around, at least sometimes.

That same ad has been running on the Q for the past 3 or 4 years.'

He got a bad concussion injury during training and it took a long time to get over. He still had to pay the bills, so he took a job that didn't involve getting punched in the head. He has recovered and doesn't suffer any lingering symptoms any more, but it only takes one punch to bring it all back and he doesn't want anything to do with that.

It's a shame that he stayed at 170 as long as he did.
