He has only lost once without a lot of grappling involved so it doesn't matter too much?
Also his reach is listed as 77" which is typical for 6'4, we're too spoiled by the Gumbys with their reach 5+ inches more than their height. It's normal to have a reach within a couple inches of your height, it's abnormal to be like GSP or Jones lol.
he obviously doesn't have 77 reach LOL. Also the average human reach is generally equal or a inch longer than your height. This guy doesn't have nowhere near that. More like 72 reach. Also he is not 6'4. He is 6'2. UFC lies almost all the time about their fighters reach and height.
"Cigano is a killer, he is a freak of nature!"
He seems more than 6'2 unless every other fighter's height is wrong too, maybe 6'3? I doubt you can guess his reach that accurately to say it is 5" shorter than listed lol. His unusually round biceps probably make it look shorter.
I meet JDS and he is 6ft 3in, normally height stats by UFC is always inflated indeed
Guys like JDS are the reason guys like Jones duck HW
Longer reach than your height basically means you were the victim of malnutrition
I dont get it.
It plays a huge role why he's one of the best strikers in the game
Reach is overrated.
His effective reach is much longer than the length of his arms suggests, just like Fedor in the past he has the abity to explode forward with that overhand and with jabs.
Arms are the first bodypart to grow and require less energy
Ratio of height and arm reach should be nearly 1-1 with 2 inch being +-
This. Goatstelum and Hendricks are similar in this regard
So I have 183cm of height and 191cm of reach. Does that mean I wasnt fed well when I was small? Weird.
Brock is 6'2.5 and we had them plenty of times side by side on TUF not so sure about the shoes but overall he had like an 1 inch on Brock.. so something like 6'3.5 is probably a correct guess.
On the reach I'm not so sure plenty of fighters that are relying on striking tend to 'cheat' on them measurements that's what their coaches teach them and be sure ass hell the UFC "stats team" ain't one for precision that's for sure.
Sure if fighters have no idea how to use it to their advantage.
How tall was Jon Jones supposed to be??
I actually don't think about his reach. So, there's that.
