Well played Tony 'El Cucuy' Ferguson....well played

news about Conor in another boxing fight isnt really a surprise as he is going to milk it for what its worth and IMO will be a miserable selling fight PPV-wise....

he will then look to either fight the Diaz trilogy fight on his return to MMA and then/or fight Pauly Malinaggi.

meanwhile Tony makes the smart move to secure a fight with McGregor by undergoing elbow surgery sidelining him until his 'doctor' clears him to fight .....McGregor - ruining the UFCs money recovering scheme they so desperately need to work...

genius strategy (apart from the actual surgery which was probably better to do now as interim than later as champ)

Good move by El Coocoo for cocoa puffs......

This thread turned out great, lol thanks guys

And TS -

Don't blame Mcgregor for making the mega-millions while his name is still hot. But can he just defend a belt one time. Poor Tony .... Getting cheated out of a big payday.

hey TS I was just reading this book about a stupid Dog. Nearly as boring and confusing to read as your thread

Tony is a genius because he is now in a position to turn down any fight but conor and the UFC cant strip him.

How would it look if the UFC stripped Tony for not defending the interim belt when the champ has been inactive for over a year.

Every offer they send Tony now will be declined if it isnt Conor or for the 'real' championship.

Ok now this makes a bit more sense.

i like this new sherdog thread about just not making sense

I understood all of this.

If PacMac happens it'll generate more money than Conor/Tony ever would. Conor doesn't lose enough of his fan base with losses, too many of them now. Nearly 7 millions followers, lol. He's in it mainly for the money. If Tony would create more interest he'd fight him. If the Manny fight falls through he could choose Tony. The whole thing sucks, but it's true.
