Not that I'm trying to become a fighter, I'm 36, I'd love to have one or two fights to get out some pent up rage but I seriously doubt someone would book me. But I have a question about weigh ins.
I'm 310 lbs, let's say I do get a fight. My manager says in 4 months, I'll weigh in at 265. I know in a non title bout I can be 266 and be allowed to fight. But what happens if I weigh in at say 263 or 245.
I'm aware missing weight would hurt my purse. But a quick Google search suggests that Heavyweight class is 205+ lbs. What happen in locals or UFC/Bellator MMA? IF anyone knows the penalty for boxing, that would be great too.
