... for nine consecutive fights.

1. Anderson (wins belt)
2. Anderson
3. Machida
4. Vitor
5. Rockhold (loses belt)
6. Romero
7. Mousasi
8. Gastelum
9. Rockhold

Any debate on this? Just pointing out a fact that is often obscured under a mountain of complaining about his personality.

That's quite the line up of opponents.

People shit on my boy for taking toughest fights, goofs should appreciate the only man to ever KO the unbeatable GOAT Matrix Silva

That’s what happens when you beat Anderson back to back. No softballs after that..

It's up there. But you can find stretches like this in many guy's careers, once you're a champ you're gonna be facing a bunch of killers in a row.

The Anderson wins are great obviously, but other than that he hasn't really accomplished all that much. Both Lyoto and Vitor were past their primes and off the juice when Weidman took them out.

Honestly, that was a good or maybe even great Machida. He dropped off big time after that fight.

Vitor was way past it, and off the sauce by the looks of him, agreed.

Probably not the GOAT lineup but its up there

That's really legit especially considering he had only 9 fights before this

Nah he was UberMachida at MW for a minute, Vitor yes he looked like a bag of dry dogfood

LOL, strength of schedule. Somone has been watching too much preseason football coverage

TS has a point - that is a brutal stretch.

It's definitely up there. Romero's is very good too, but maybe a little less than Weidman.

Whittaker
Rockhold
Whittaker
The Chris
Jacare
Machida
Tim Kennedy

All except Vitor. TRTVitor would have took his head clean off fighting prime or not

You know what, many disowned The Chris after losing the title but I respect that he's still your boy after everything that happened.
