I never really understood the hate for WMMA. There are good and bad fights just like regular MMA. I get that the talent level is a lot higher in the mens divisions, but I have a blast when I go to regional or amateur MMA shows and that's usually bottom of rung talent.

I guess I just like to watch people fight. I first saw MMA as a teenager in 1995 it was a total different spectacle, but it was still awesome to watch even though a lot of the fighters lacked athleticism. I'm not a cuck either, I just don't mind watching two women beat the shit out of each other.

The only chick I like to watch is cyborg...she has legit power and finishes just about all her fights...I don't see any woman beating her...

I like to watch is Beach Vollyball and Maybe Tennis. During the Olympics I'll catch myself watching some other Womens sports like Hockey (Which kind of sucks because they can't check) diving, track and feild, Gymnastics, or other oddball sports just because it's the Olympics.

I also watched a little bit of the Womens World Cup (Even though I'm not really a soccer fan) when the U.S. was favored to win. The Lingre Football league is pretty sweet too I could never get into snatchketball though, the WNBA just doesn't do it for me.

The problem with WMMA is that it takes time away from normal MMA. You're forced to sit through it or just lose out on seeing a fight if you buy a ticket or PPV to the UFC.

If the NBA started mixing WNBA quarters in with NBA games and charging the same price, they'd get basically the same backlash.

Imo two people fist fighting in a cage is different than two people throwing a ball around. There are usually around 13 fights from top to bottom on a UFC card and 1 or 2 WMMA fights. There are good and bad WMMA fights just like the mens.

I'm not trying to white knight here, but take UFC 214 for example Aleksandra Albu vs Kailin Curran (who are also easy on the eyes) on the fight pass prelims was a sick fight. I'll take that over the Woodley vs Maia Snoozer any day of the week.

But if I want to watch the champions league in soccer and see the best athletes compete, FIFA doesn't force me to watch women's soccer in-between. That's what UFC does.
