    Perspective yo!

    Discuss.

    or not.

    I used to teach shooting exactly the way he's describing as the wrong way.

    Precision then speed up. Hmm.

    But I'm a rifle goon not pistol, precision then speed is still a fine approach I feel.

    He's taking the same approach as the Japanese in Archery;

    Release first, then Target.

    Interesting..

    There are very few classes I would consider when it comes to shooting, but if I was in AZ I would take a Rob Leatham Class.

    He is the Shizzle:

    Cliffs: its ok to fucking jerk, just don't fucking flinch!

    Some of the best Offhand Scores I ever shot in Highpower Competition were times when I let go of the sights, as he describes.

    At the time I didn't perceive exactly as he states it, I looked at it more as a harmony thing.

    Some days you can hold really still, some days not so much, but if you don't get "stuck" (on the sights) and can let the harmony flow, doesn't matter as long as the shot breaks over the 10 ring.

    I had other shooters tell me my offhand looked like a drunken sailor at times I shot great scores.

    I think that's what was going on. I just wasn't getting stuck.

    To me the man makes plenty of sense. I need to work on a tighter grip and pulling the trigger without moving the gun. :oops:
