Michael Bisping literally got KTFO by Anderson Silva at the bell. If that's not getting saved by the bell I don't know what else is.
He covered up immediately and Anderson didn’t go for the finish.

Other ones that come to mind are Matt Hughes vs GSP 2, and against BJ Penn 2 when BJ had him in that triangle, and Cody vs TJ.
I don't feel like that sequence plays out like that if there's more time on the clock. Jake seems to get caught sleeping, there, feeling like there's less time left than there really is.

Anderson clearly acted as if he thought the fight was over. He was celebrating and needed to be told the fight was still on.
Given that Anderson didn’t seem to feel the need to try to follow up, it may not actually be a saved by the bell but rather a saved by the other fighter thinking the fight was over.

I didn't really follow MMA when shields fought mayhem, only thing i know is that shields is very good on the ground. How good was mayhem in his prime?
Watch that again. Anderson was already starting to turn away BEFORE the horn. He called the fight once he hits the knee.
Add 15 seconds to the round and nothing changes cause Anderson wasn’t going to come back and finish the job.
As a result this isn’t a saved by the bell situation.

Yeah, Bisping was going to instantly recover in the 2-3 seconds it would've taken Herb to communicate to Anderson that he wasn't stopping the fight. 4-5 follow up strikes to a still turtled up Bisping and the fight is over.

Smealinho Rama had the rear naked locked in against Halsey and Halsey wound up getting saved by the bell just this Thursday on the pfl card, such a sick fight!

Watch the fucking thing again. Anderson is 100% convinced the fight is over. If you add 10 seconds to the clock Anderson isn’t going to finish the fight cause his celebration keeps going.
Remember that the time between round 3 and 4 is more then a minute because of how long it takes Anderson to realize he needs to still fight.
