Was just exploring LA again last week

Haha thats LA for you man
its unfortunate that LA has such great weather. It's also the perfect cess pool for homeless people, the weather...and friendly city officials that practically welcomes the homelessness in our city. When I was in Vegas couple of months ago...I kid you not, I saw a bum holding a sign saying "need money to get to California."

Shocking, but totally disheartening at the same time
yeah man, Its weird because the Homeless are all in skid row DTLA, and then they are at the beautiful beaches, Santa Barbara has a lot of homeless but that area is rich and beautiful, and then you got San Diego with a grip of homeless

The homeless like to stay in the nice areas probably because they think those rich white liberals will give them some cash.

They also got Desert people the homeless you see in Indio and toward the Palm Springs area in those empty desert land

I remember seeing them all the time when I would go to the native casinos and these dirty ass desert people would be begging for money while im playing Keno and I couldnt enjoy myself.

Other states routinely dump their homeless in California.

Who cares where poor people live. If you don’t live by the beach you should move to the 909.

Literally everywhere in the SFV, Hollywood, silverlake, echo park... Open your eyes.

The expensive parts of town. It is what I meant

Just search for "Where do meth heads live in southern California?" and you'll find the whites

I've been to Howlin' Rays. It's good.

I should have paid one of the already served patrons for a drumstick.

That these poor whte middle class Americans are living out their means on the beach and on the cliffs.

Also why can’t they live next to Asian people? I really don’t get the point you’re tying to make. I’m not trying to give you grief

It is colloquially known SoCal is very expensive especially areas with lots of white folk. If they be willing to spread themselves out more, their living expenses will be much lower. I am sure there is a handful here and there that do spread out. But if more were willing to do so, you will not hear about this struggling white middle class as much. I dont know why they dont either. I am not saying there are no middle class minorities or lower who struggle too though.

Where are you from?

Chinatown is dirty ass hell, but when you go to lil Tokyo its night and day its clean.

I used to work in DTLA and yes the homeless are all around they been trying hard as hell to get it to be a residential area like other downtowns, but DTLA is always empty at night only college white hipsters who are in that area, its nice as hell though, I remember staying at my friends loft when he went on vacation to visit family in Washington he owned a loft it cost him 300k, beautiful view of the city at night, and I would go down stairs to eat at the taco place and work out at the 24 hour fitness there, but man he had like only 4 neighbors in the building nobody was there some of the lofts were still available and the ones sold they were bought but the owners only stayed there once and a while.

But I tell you DTLA is very nice, too many illegal immigrant type Mexicans ruined MacArthur park area, but the homeless problem is the main issue, they reside in skid row but they always pan handle in downtown and are very aggressive and many times violent and carry diseases.

Im in NYC/NNJ. I never found the Chinatown in LA dirty. The Chinatowns in NYC are much worse. The homeless are probably scaring everyone away. LOL at the diseases. They need to quarantine that area. Who is buying those tents for them?

There is this "fashion district" in DTLA. Its like your version of NYC's Canal Street except you guys dont have the perfume stores. Its all garments. Who is buying that stuff?

The democrat Politicians are allowing them to sleep there, they haven't helped house them and help their drug issues, but the real people who help the homeless there are the Churches mainly the Catholic volunteers and the LA mission where they provide food

here is a little article about it
California Today: Democrats Fault Governor on Homelessness Crisis
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/01/us/california-today-jerry-brown-homelessness.html

the issue with these homeless is most of them about 90 percent if I were to guess are already fried from drugs, most of them have drug induced psychosis and its already done so they are just walking nuisances they don't care about eating they just want drugs and pan handle and have become violent they carry a lot of diseases.

The skid row hurt many businesses, and it people don't want to mingle there because of it, but they dont want to do shit about this homeless issue. the only people you see near skid row and DTLA are Mexicans and immigrants most of them selling elotes and tamales and fruits on the side walk some even cooking stuff on the street to sell.

As someone who is currently being victimized by whites and their garbage ass gentrification I say good! Im glad they got no place to go
Fuckin assholes ruin everything everywhere anyways so you should just be happy they havent invaded your neighborhood yet
I was in the Mission District in San Francisco last weekend and that was some sad shit to see, fuckin place is ruined
How dare people try and make places cleaner, more valuable, less crime, and pursue the american dream of home ownership. I just want to rent forever in paradise!

When the reverse happens, nobody can say shit, but let an area get better, and let home values rise, and see the tears flow. Seems back asswards to me, but poor people are dumb.

Real estate and rental rates are a pretty good example of market pricing. When an area becomes more desirable home prices rise, which makes the land underneath the apartment buildings worth more. Then when rental rates rise people complain. Just cause you have lived in one area your whole life doesn't mean it should remain affordable for you until you die there. People rarely mention this, but if southern california is too expensive for you, you can move. Also, alot of people complain about 'I got evicted! they raised my rent! etc'. Thats your fault for renting month to month. Fiscally responsible people lock in leases a year or more where they can only charge ~5% per year in increases. Adjusted for inflation thats only like one or two percent higher the paychecks you should be making

Not all of us want to live in an area where mom and pop restaurants and stores are squeezed out and replaced by Starbucks and Jamba Juice and more Starbucks and Panda Express and more Starbucks
I understand your kind loves that stuff but some of us dont
