No, it comprimised the intel because Trump shared it with a foreign advisary and spy. He shared code word clearance material while in the room with Russian state run media. It wasn't even our intelligence. It was Israeli and highly, highly sensitive because it could expose personnel, collection methods and details (this next part is important) to the terrorist elements we are fighting. Bottom line, the man is a moron. This wasn't just run of the mill precautionary information that came from our own intelligence officials that he was sharing with an ally. He's an idiot who lacks the intellectual capacity required to digest the information he is given, fully understand it and handle it responsibly

If Russia used it to secure their airports how that compromises Israel? The person who compromised the intel is the one that leaked a state meeting, it was on US side. And intel has been shared in the past with Russia.

    This is true.

Might just mean less secrets get shared in future.

Maybe I am being unfair, maybe Donald has learned more about statecraft in his 150 days than the professionals he is surrounded by.

When I want someone in control of making decions about national security I want that person unburned by experience and knowledge, much better they learn on the job.

The intel was compromised because Trump told Russians about it, it being leaked didn't compromise the intel, it only let the public know that it was compromised.

Only people in the meeting were Trump, McMaster and whoever else Trump himself brought in. WH staff. If there is a traitor it's Trump's own people. Oh and the Russian reporter he let them bring in, wonder what was said in front of him?

Because Trump mentioned the specific city where the intel was gathered which is what made it an issue, CNN was told months ago not to report that part of the story because it was classified and could compromise intelligence and national security. Fake News CNN didn't report it, but Trump chose to do it.

...because you fail to grasp the difference between this and general intelligence information. This information was far more sensitive because it could be used to reverse engineer the collection methods and expose those person(s) collecting the intel. There is some intelligence that allies share with us that is so sensitive it may only be shared with 2-3 people within a government. We are responsible for protecting that information, as are they when we do the same. Often times we have countries providing us with intelligence privately who for political purposes could never do so publicly. He didn't say tell them what had already been publically reported, regarding the laptop bans. He went much further and provided information he should not have. While not illegal, it was incredibly stupid and irresponsible.

outrage culture is not only real, it jumped the shark during the Obama admin w/ Fox news

all you have to do is ask any trump denouncer that is acting like the world is ending, 'How exactly has your life changed since he became President? give me one example of how it's worse..."

they can't, and it just further shows the limit of the Executive Branch's actual power

Isn't the cuck who leaked the supposed 'intel' to the MSM the one putting lives in danger?

Some people eat up any negative press they can find without thinking.

No, it was the cuck that gave intel to an enemy that put lives in danger, not the MSM exposing that an idiot leaked info to Russians.
