Voted Best Song of the 90s

UM, the ubiquitous Smells Like Teen Spirit always wins these awards and tops whatever musical list about the 90's that exist. As a cultural movement it's more impactful and around the world more recognizable. And IMHO at least a way better song than the indecent muck peddles in the OP

I like the songs here except for the Korn post. I'd also nominate this as pretty 90's and a good song:

Love bitter sweet symphony.

In our year 12 book you could list a song as your anthem and that was mine.

I honestly think this may have been the best song in the 90s.

I get why they would choose you get what you give though.

That's one of those songs everybody knows and you hum along to it whether you admit to liking it or not.

That and probably Bittersweet symphony are the iconic songs of that decade.

I didn't even like that song in the 90s.

It's better than the cover version everyone's playing these days though.

This song sucks. And it would suck in any decade too.

New Radicals, huh? I always thought it was Billy Joel.

Oasis were the 90's

They definitely were a big part of the mid nineties. Can't say Oasis without saying Blur though ... and I must say I preferred Blur, still do.

Blur made great music but it didn't have the same cultural effect as Oasis. If we're talking under appreciated Brit-Pop, Ocean Colour Scene is top of the list.
