Lol except it still is. Kennedy knows his boys are going to stop and aren't actually trying to fish info from him. If you're actually being waterboarded for hours on end I imagine your lungs and throat hurt immensely from spasming .not to mention psychological damage. Kennedy is a nutjob

Exactly -- its intended use/function is basically the definition of torture

the action or practice of inflicting severe pain on someone as a punishment or to force them to do or say something, or for the pleasure of the person inflicting the pain.

Kennedy and those like him (Michael Bolton, Dick Chaney) don't understand that pain isn't only physical, probably because they have no soul

It's basically going into a pool and going dipping your head under water and saying "Hey Look, what's so scary about this"

compared someone putting your head in the pool against your will and not knowing if/when they will let you out
 
It could be, he just managed to find those precious few people on this earth who wouldn't just leave him there experiencing the sensation of drowning for a couple of hours (with a healthy dose of Ivan Drago attitude).
 
Well the problem here is the definition of torture is from the WW2 mind set. The problem is we’re not fighting uniformed soldiers in an organized army which have rules of conduct for their soldiers. It’s like fighting with one hand tied behind your back.
 
I’d like to see Tim Kennedy try this experiment except with poo.
