So you've clearly never seriously studied any form grappling.

So you clearly think that every single MMA fighter has an amazing grappling skillset.

You really think a guy like Klitschko/Wilder/Joshua has zero chance of KO'ing Stipe? A guy that got knocked out by Stefan Struve?

Or Kovalev would have zero chance of KOing Bisping?

Title should be "Conor goes to a boxing match and has discussion, Sherdog makes 26 pages over it"

    About what exactly?

You show a 2 Gifs of him grabbing a single collar tie clinch for half a second during exchanges and landing one elbow and zero knees.

Not even close to the same situation. What point are you failing miserably at trying to make here?

I'm showing him landing cutting elbows in the clinch. GIFs are hard to find, but he brutalised Eddie with knees and dominated the clinch. And that's against a man who usually has the advantage in the clinch.

How are you trying to tell me that a boxer who doesn't train to use the clinch position as a weapon has an advantage over a fighter that drills clinch positions daily. McGregor has a vast amount of tools to use in the clinch. I showed you him elbowing the shit out of Diaz and I linked earlier to Conor getting a beautiful takedown from the clinch against Brandao. You're just chatting shit at this point mate.

McGregor's boxing is better than Sergey's grappling, kicks, Jiu Jitsu, wrestling and pure fighting ability.

The pic is funny because Sergei looks like a giddy fan, which turned out to be true.

I find it hilarious that because of the hate they have for McGregor they emasculate the sport of MMA in an effort to try and put him down.

Are you familiar with Boxing? They both train and fight in the clinch up until one guy wraps both arms around an opponent at which point the ref will separate them. "Fight your way out" is the refs command when fighters have a single collar tie clinch.

This is all irrelevant though since I've only been talking about the situation and range in the video in which case you can say with 98% certainty that Conor would have been knocked unconscious before he would have any chance of throwing a kick, shooting a takedown or landing knees and elbows in the clinch.

This is by far the most pointless argument I've ever had but I will admit it is rather amusing hearing all your reasons why an MMA fighter couldn't possibly lose a close quarters fight against someone who isn't a "fighter" because he only trains to knock people out using his fists, lol.

Never looked at it that way but damn that's pathetic. Most didn't even know who Sergei Kovalev was or even know that LHW in boxing is 175 lbs. In fact Conor just brought more viewers who will probably tune into Sergei's next fight. #ConorBless

This is the best McGregor can do to get talks moving on a Mayweather bout?

This makes him look amateurish and desperate.

You're basically assuming a boxer is guarenteed to land a strike before someone can close the distance, also, at that range there's not even ebough room to cock a fist and land well. So I have no idea what you're talking about. Also, boxers don't train in the clinch, they train on fighting on the inside sure, but that's not clinch fighting. I don't know why you're finding it hard to admit that in clinch range the MMA fighter has a lot more options of attack and defense than the boxer.

If you keep getting gifted title shots and manage to string two wins together...and then you fuck off because you got pregnant...

    He's 2-1 in his last 3.

    Nope. Not impressed.

Wake me up when he title defends and goes on a run against all comers like Anderson or GSP...

Sport was emasculated the moment we started gifting title shots and fighters fucked off because they got preggers.

So it's totally ok to poke fun of it now, as it's only slightly better than wrasslin.
