(video) Darren Till on Demian Maia “i believe he’s the hardest fight in the WW division"

2 World titles? So fight manlets 10lbs heavier...Ok.

Beat a manlet in 13 seconds...ok

He beat a 7-2 Green Halloway...ok.

He beat Manlet mendes...ok
he cut the weight bro. what more do you want?

Let's be real here, Conor is an opportunist who got lucky getting those 2 belts. He only went for smaller opponents where he'd have a size or reach advantage and hasn't faced real competition yet. When he fought a bigger fighter who's not even at the top (Diaz) he got fucked up the first time, and only took a decision the 2nd time around. When he's beaten Fergusson and Khabib then we can talk ;)

You can make all the excuses in the world...but aldo was the p4p #1 fighter on the planet...you don't think aldo cuts a ton of weight? and conor has fought 99% of his career at Feather weight and has never ever missed weight...so you can talk about him fighting "smaller" guys all you want...the fact is, all fighters cut weight...not just conor...and if you weight the limit at the weighins, you are that weight...you aren't fighting smaller men...you're fighitng guys your own weight....And diaz isn't his size...he's a good 20lbs heavier than conor is, walking around...everyone knows that...unless you really think nate walks around at 175lbs? haha And they fought at WW...a weight class conor was totally unfamiliar with...

Look at Aldo's height and reach compared to McGregor. The truth is McGregor hasn't defended his belts a single time yet.

He beat guys in his weight class...a weight class where he's never ever missed weight, not once...Green holloway? That was early on for conor as well...and stop making excuses...it's pathetic...I just love guys calling guys that would literally kick your ass in under 20 seconds in a fight, manlet...it's funny...they would literally laugh in your face if you called them that...

Guys are built differently...you're going to hold a persons body genetics against them? That's crazy....some guys are going to be taller, longer reach...it's life...aldo and conor are virtually the same height...what 1 inch difference? and who cares about height....they go by weight, not height or reach...but weight....ali had a huge reach...nobody bitched about that...he was genetically blessed with a long reach....

Virtually the same height? Aldo is 170 and McGregor 175, McGregor had a 4 inches advantage.

Who has Conor beat who had a similar reach apart from Diaz? He'll get exposed by Fergusson, Barboza, or anyone his size in the top5.

Honest...Unlike Conor.....This is why Darren Till will be a better fighter than Conor ever will be.

He knows Maia is the hardest fight for him because he lacks a good ground game...Conor on the other hand would think a BJJ/Wrestler are easy ass fights.

Of course we all know what happens when Mystic Tap goes to the ground...Kid just doesn't learn.
Are you really so obsessed that this is immediately where your head goes in a thread that has nothing to do with Conor?

I like Till's comments. Maia is a personal favorite and he absolutely presents a different challenge than anyone else in the division. However, to say he's the hardest match up for anyone in the division is inaccurate. If you're one of the handful in the division that can neutralize his grappling, there are tougher match ups.

I hate to say it but he won't have to worry about a 40+ year old Maia who is about to lose to Covington.

He is difficult Even for people with great tdd and good striking because they fear that if they open up too much, their tdd might suffer enough for Maia to grab them.

No, you're referring to Tyrone who is scared of engaging anyone. Maia has been brutalized by anybody that can stuff his rather novice takedowns, aka any good wrestler.

This milk will improve and overcome, while Contard McGaylord will always be the only man to ever tap out to whoever that guy was. Nate Marquardt or something".

So, we're 12 now?

I agree somewhat, but I think that Usman and Covington are tougher because of their wrestling. They both have much stronger and better wrestling than Maia, and both are beasts in the clinch.

Think what he meant to say the hardest fight for his style, but will agree Maia is a hard fight for the majority of the WW's...

his unathletic no level change takedowns vs this young stud?
