Chael Sonnen says if Conor McGregor goes against UFC to box Floyd, UFC will DESTROY his MMA career like Tito Ortiz and explains how powerful UFC is at manipulating the media citing Andre Arlovski as an example of a superstar created by UFC overnight. Interesting stuff...

This is stupid. So many people, including Chael and Dave Meltzer and tons of insiders doubted Conor during his rise and then his battles with the UFC.

Can we just admit that this guy will be successful regardless of whether UFC brass likes him or not?

Conor could make 100 million fighting Floyd who gives a shit if his MMA career is over. In fact Conor makes more money now in 1 MMA fight than Sonnen has in his entire career so Sonnen should STFU and bow down to the GOAT.

UFC has the power to create fighting stars but they can't create personalities. That's up to the fighters themselves to create a character but most fighters can't talk worth a shit.
 
Chael makes up his own history. Andre was a star, because he made himself a star with his fight style, and look. Of course they needed a new star, if older stars start fading.

"Conor could make 100 million fighting Floyd" - LMAO - what drugs you on that you even think a stingy fucker like Floyd gives McGregor 100 million?? Conor is lucky his bum life gets 15 million max including PPV.
 
He's not wrong. And MMA is such a diverse sport that no matter how good you are, there is always someone out that that can beat you, and you're only ever a few losses away from obscurity...

For that reason though, Conor should push for the Floyd fight. It's his biggest and best pay day, more so than the rest of his UFC career combined.

Theoretically, he could lose his next two fights in MMA and lose a big chunk of his drawing power...
