Valentina's older sister fighting tonight

i thought her opponent pulled out

The Shevchenkos have skill but their fights are only exciting when they're fighting absolute cans, hopefully she's fighting a can tonight.

i'd imagine she's gonna make whoever she's fighting look like the amateur she is.

ON tuesday night contender series in case anyone is wondering.

She has some pretty good credentials; 135er.

She's the one in white

her credentials are iffy by the standards of the division to be honest.

her 5-0 mma record is largely against 0-1 fighters, he MT record like a lot of amateur MT records is pretty padded , that said, she does have decent MT, and black belt taekwondo..

on the flip side, her opponent Thornton is pretty poor. Shes fought her last two fights at 115 which is the division she should be in. Shes way undersized for 125, her flyweight record is 1-4

this will be easy for Antonini. She will have a big size advantage, coupled with a lot more experience, she should KO her within a round.7

edit: oh, opponents changed.. but the replacement isnt much better to be honest. The replacement was actually the one win on Thorntons 1-4 Flyweight record.....

her late replacement opponent has the better resume in mma. just coming off a win less than a month ago.

What a bunch of Debbie downers. We should be welcoming any new additions to wmma that are not complete duds.

If we are only going to be enthusiastic about fighters who are 20-0 against elite competition, well, that's just not realistic and silly.

She seems to have some decent striking and could be promising, especially considering that her sister is one of the best wmma fighters in the ufc.

To be fair though this is sherdog where, unless you are on a massive win streak or you are the master of the beloved douche bag clown act, you are trash.

Mockery of the sport. The Contender series is bushleague dilution of the UFC brand to feed us basically the equivalent of MMA McDonalds (cheapest fights possible).

Antonina could be considered a "can" herself given her MMA record. Guess she's evenly matched. C*nt.

It was fun watching the can getting crushed.

make them fight each other
