VA nominee Ronny Jackson has more allegations made against him.

I could have sworn with the name Ronny Jackson that he was black.

He was never going to get confirmed by the Senate. McConnell wanted nothing to do with a messy confirmation hearing that would likely see more than a handful of Republicans and all Dems vote against him and have Trump fume at McConnell and the GOP for blocking him.

These leaks of personal conduct almost surely came out of the WH or GOP to force Jackson to pull his name from consideration to let WH and GOP off the hook. Of course Trump comes out hard blaming Tester and Dems because that is part of the plan to frame the Dems for it.

Dems would have LOVED a confirmation hearing. Jackson simply wasn't qualified even without these alleged professional and personal issues, and Dems would have LOVED beating the WH and GOP over the head with that fact until the floor vote when he would have been blocked.

Hell, I think it was certain that some Dem would have asked Jackson under oath if Trump is 6'3" and 239lbs like he publicly released.

He was NEVER vetted for the role. Trump liked him because he lied for him, he's handsome, and in the military so that was enough for Trump. Trump has said many times in defense of Jackson that he doesn't have the experience necessary for crying out loud. Trump chooses people who fit his idea of what somebody should look like in that role.

NO wonder Trump went bankrupt 4 times, he is the worst at hiring people.

leftover employee of obama .. wonder how many more gems ol barry had under his wing that the media covered up .. none of this came out while obama was in office

He's from the Bush era

In 2006, while still in Iraq, Jackson was selected as a White House physician. Since arriving at the White House, he has directed the Executive Health Care for the President’s Cabinet and Senior Staff, served as physician supervisor for the Camp David Presidential Retreat, held the position of physician to the White House and led the White House Medical Unit as its director. He has served as White House physician during the past three administrations and was the appointed physician to the president for President Barack Obama. He currently serves as the appointed physician to the president for President Donald J. Trump.

strike on bush then .. but why didn't any of this come out then or while obama was in office ?(rhetorical) .. I bet you that personal assistant guy that got exposed wouldn't have been touched if he was there during obama's tenure .. all of obama's trash was neatly covered up
Because his job is not really that important. Sec. of VA is higher on the totem pole than being the Presidents physician. Nobody cared then. It just shows how inept is the Trump administration. If they vetted the guy like they are supposed too, they never would have offered him the job. Also hiring the best people line would not be the running joke it is.

Or he was wholly unqualified to head the VA. Jackson was ridiculed for his "Trump is 6'3" and 239lbs" report but nobody really cared that he was "Personal Physician to the President", but when you are now trying to put him in charge of 300,000 people and a $200 BILLION budget - people tend to speak up.

None of it would have come out under Trump if he didn't nominate him for a position that requires Senate approval

in charge of the president's health isn't important ? .. if what they're saying is true about this guy, he had no business being that close to the president .. defending obama over having this guy makes you look like a partisan hack

just stop .. what about that personal assistant ? they're vigorously scoping anyone employed by trump in hopes of staining him

Well literally none of this came out until Trump nominated him for a position that required Senate approval.

When you nominate somebody for a position they are highly unqualified for people start to take a deeper look into your background

It's amazing how you dorks will turn a blindeye to shitty behavior from anyone republican if they're in Trump's good graces. Have some self-respect.
Don't hold your breath.

Who is "they"? Also are you talking about the bodyman with the gambling problem or the wife beater? Bodyman issue came up internally I believe. Wife beater was leaked by Lewendowski because Hicks left him for the guy.

Yet another vetting triumph from this amazing administration.

Gosh, he's so capable
