I can see that comparison. The only thing we don't know about Usyk is how great his chin is. Calzaghe had an absolute iron chin, as did Froch. So far Usyk's chin has looked solid but we really will see it tested at HW.

that's the acid test imo, and his success in the division will probably depend on this. As skilled as he is, he is going to get hit. Bellews right counter had no effect, but Gassiev looked like he really hurt him at the end of one of their rounds. I think it went unnoticed because it was right ion the bell and one of the only clean shots he landed in the fight

Jut put USYK in there with King Kong Ortiz and watch a 40 year old veteran play with him and knock him out and this will answer any questions people have with USYK, because i don't think he can beat King Kong, unless Ortiz gets old overnight, or USYK is better then we thought and then he can fight Wilder or Joshua or Fury, until then most boxing fans see tremendous flaws in his game and he's to easy and predictable to counter and his defense is crap and is easy to attack especially his body also bigger stronger harder punching heavyweights, will hurt and stop him quit quickly, because USYK could get away with getting hit flush against smaller boxers but bigger boxers will walk threw him and trade with him.

I think some people are being a tad harsh on his defence. He hasn't got much head movement but his footwork is exceptional and gets him out of trouble. Bellew could only land single shots and counters because hed moved as soon as he landed.
I struggle to see how Usyk beats Fury because of his size, length, skills and movement. But Joshua is going to struggle to close that distance, especially early on. He struggled against Wlad until he slowed down. will Usyk slow much over the course of the fight? I'm not saying that Usyk beats wilder/Joshua, but I certainly wouldn;t be surprised, especially Joshua

I get where you're coming from. I really do. But I also get where people are coming from with the two guys at the top being absolute monsters.

They could possibly throw him straight at Joshua, maybe even that a good fight for him. AJ HAS been playing it a bit safer as of late and that would not be the strategy id favour him with Usyk. AJ HAS been developing his skills and game plans, but as I just said in the previous post I think the best thing to do with Usyk is get him out of there early. Seemingly Joshua doesn't favour that now.

I think a wilder fight would be an early ko for wilder.. Joshua of past would also do that. Dunno about now though. Depends on his strategy I guess. His diversification imo will hurt him a bit.

I can’t see Wilder ever losing to Usyk, and only winning by KO.

I think Canelo wins it, he's the better fighter BUT I think BJS gives him some difficult rounds with his movements. Canelo doesn't have the fastest feet so BJS matches up with him well but I see Canelo being able to adapt and get to BJS, especially in the latter part of the fight where BJS tends to slow down.
