Why is everyone pretending there aren't amazing fights these days? There has been no drop off. Some guys getting suspended sucks, but the quality of the fights is the same.

They should also stop checking gloves and wraps for illegal objects. You get way more exciting finishes if the fighters can carry some metal in their hands. Lets face it, brass knuckles give every fighter that KO power that the fans love.

Some folding chair option would be nice too.
 
Yeah, the UFC fighters have to be careful while roiding so they can't benefit from PED's to the fullest. Also some are even clean now which is even worse.


People say that it's fine. How's the LHW and HW divisions doing?
If that knockout happened in the UFC by some dude making his debut people would be going crazy. Unfortunately you can see that guy likely won't fight in an USADA organization.

Do you like fights being cancelled because of injuries? Did you hate it back in the day when the best fighters could fight 3 times per year and some times more?

Also, did you guys see that HW fight a week ago or so in the UFC were an obese short guy was fighting a chubby guy and all they did was bad boxing? And one of them was apparently a prospect. Seems like there is great things to come also in the USADA UFC HW division.

Oh get real...early MMA was built on steroids. Hell I'd even go as far to say that professional sports is built on steroids unless you actually believe we have evolved that much physically in that short of time. Track records that were once a big deal are now fairly common.

Holy SHIT I had no idea there were HWs like that. Did you see that spinning back kick???? There are no 220 lb guys in the UFC that can do that shit. Let alone 265 lbers!!!

Fucking Derrick Lewis was making his way to the top. These guys would crush 99% of hte UFC roster and I've never even heard their names.

It makes sense now on why the UFC HW division has all these 45 year old men. The division isn't dead. There's tons of great HWs! They're just not in the UFC!

Check his record. The dude has multiple losses to no names in OneFC.
 
Steroids should be encouraged, PRIDE style. Allowing steroids in some ways is fairer than banning them... When they're allowed you know going into the fight that your opponent will be roiding. When they are banned there's some uncertainty, plus the fact that it adds in a facet of "who can cheat better?" where people are still forced to cheat knowing their opponents are using, but somehow their opponents do a better job of masking their substances while the other guy gets caught because he's not as good at cheating and pays the price.
 
The UFC is packed full of cheaters. Getting rid of some of them gives the impression that they are cleaning things up and leaves them in good terms politically with say, FOX network or potential business partners, politicians themselves perhaps in regard to whatever state their event is in, etc.

Jon Jones has been a huge loss though, but a loss that some seen coming and we already know what a UFC without Jones looks and feels like. He had so many previous fuckups he basically dug the hole himself, USADA did what they had to.

But , the UFC wants to be taken seriously and grow the sport of mma and their organization to the scale of other major sporting events in the future. With is just getting legalized in NYC, they must continue to (at least try and create the image of) free the sport of cheaters as it was already known that cheaters were in fact getting away with it.

I just wish that they actually DID care about the integrity of the sport.. if they DID for real than we would have champions fighting number 1 contenders and not doing everything politically and for financial reasons. In the end, it is a business and all businesses care about profit.
 
that's true. USADA is biggest menace to our sport. it's busting great talents left and right while pretending to be a good thing for MMA. wolves in sheep's clothing. it's disgusting. we lost hendricks, jones, erick silva, jacaré, lyoto, weidman and many more. for what?
