Murka is much better at conventional conflicts than asymmetrical conflicts with turrists. The have been waiting for a shock and awe WW2 type confrontation forever. Maybe China or Russia will bite, probably not though.

We aren't even very good at that.
All we've ever done is stomp cans.
Germany had already gone 10 rounds with the Allies and Russia in both WWI and WWII before we got involved.

Good. All the fear mongering about Muslims has obscured the reality that China and Russia are actually trying to supplant us on the world stage.

Russia's actions if you can see through the western propoganda are largely to counter-act western attempts to marginalize what power they have left. China on the other hand you're right about.

Russia wants to be part of the European group and see little future in a relationship with China.

Focus groups must have shown that terrorism isn't striking enough fear and that commies and Russians are resonating with the perpetually and pathologically fearful.

I agree with that, does wonders to pysop the fuck out of the general public, but it does not change the legitimacy of the actual threat of A.I and drone warfare.
