***Probably not ready for the 220 yet, even though the 205 moved so quickly. The biggest issue right now, other than two big life stressors, are not getting my head through (which is inexcusable) and the jerk blocks I'm lifting from aren't good for getting a tight and QUICK front rack position; I either leak energy setting up and slowing it down, or unrack aggressively and too loosely for the heaviest weights to leave the shoulders in perfect alignment and bar path.

Bodyweight still 195. First rep was too shallow. All weights felt 20% heavier than normal today.

Super low energy still, definitely off. With how fast 205 went last week it's a sign of how drained I am to miss it this week.

225*5
225*5
185*8 (3 pulses at the bottom before coming ip)

Lunges

20kg kb single arm overhead alternating

3 sets of 12/leg

Emphasis was on depth and using the erectors. I haven't felt a back pump in years, so it was a delight to experience that again. Positively wrecked today: adductors, hamstrings, glutes, quads, erectors.

Possibly too soon to have done good mornings again, hamstrings are fubared.

I've been lifting sporadically but not enough to write down.

185*22 - Switched to oly shoes. Tough. 8.5/10 difficulty. Paused the last rep.

I wanted a challenge and asked my client who showed up early to pick a number between 10 and 30, and he chose 22. Hamstrings were very tight and sore and restricted today, so all told I'm pretty happy with almost bodyweight for 22. I haven't done high bar in quite a while but it felt good. Absolutely harder than low bar, as far as moving weight goes.

I was sore for 4 days, ridiculous. I'm sure I've been that sore before, but I couldn't say when. Glutes, adductors, hip flexors, quads, abs.

Nice work! 355 high bar is badass.

Quote me for the video embedding. It's the last bit of the URL, before the playlist stuff, in yt tags.

EDIT: Fawked it up. Between / and ? in the URL.

Thanks for the help and the props Ethan! Like you, I'm chasing a 500 lb back squat.
