Unsigned Heavyweights - Thread Four

Here's the video of the Cummings-Johnson fight. Johnson gets a warning about illegal elbows to the back of the head but then the fight restarts not long after. Again he gets Cummings with some good shots and the fight is stopped. It was a normal stoppage by the ref. Then apparently someone in the crowd said it was a No Contest because he was grabbing the fence to get better position. It's hard to tell from the camera angle, but if he touches the fence at all, it was to push off of, which is legal. Now they're calling it a No Contest because of illegal elbows but the elbows he uses to finish look legal. Just kind of BS all around. In addition to this, the ref let Cummings take about 6 unnecessary shots and had him stand right up after the finish. I would avoid Gladiator Challenge if I were a fighter.

Tony Lopez seems to fight once, sometimes twice a month. He's nearly 50 I think, too.

Dudes a fucking warrior.

What happened with the pezao Silva fight?

Aliakbari won at the acb 89

With ACB seemingly struggling, I hope Aliakbari joins the UFC. He's a fucking beast and has previous trash-talk against the UFC HW division, could come in as (and I loathe pro-wrestling terms) a kind of heel character with the beastliness to back his mouth up.

He aint going anywhere near USADA, thats a safe bet.

Looking forward to

Brian Heden vs Raphael Pessao

I got Sakai via UD, Mowry to submit Moa in round 1; Pessoa to score a tired TKO over Heden, 3rd round.

Looking forward to Calyn Hull, BIG test for him - I reckon he wins a decision.
Dyzcka should win easily.
Daukaus to continue his slow return to relevance.

Hull loses, Pessoa wins, and Ciryl Gane puts on a world class performance vs Adam Dyczka. Gane is a dude to watch out for.

For now it is, but the way Gane looked I dont think it hurts Dyczka too much. Couple wins and he should be right back in contract/contender series talks.

Gane is 6'5 with an 83 inch reach. He's a ripped 240 lbs with fast hands and feet.
He's 28 which is young for a heavyweight.
If he can improve his takedown defence, he's definitely one to watch.
