There are two types of people:
-take risks
-terrified of taking risks
Those who don't take risks, always root for the favourite. They don't want to be seen as choosing the wrong guy...cuz that's a risky choice. I call these people sheep living in a rat race, under orders from the Man. These people are forever pessimistic, cynical and will talk you out of doing what you want, so you end up regretting not doing it later. The disease, the syndrome known as Blandness.
People who live life at 50% thinking that'll suffice. Cuz hey, you can't miss what you never had.
Conor is definitely the underdog and it's so easy to not choose him. However, when Conor wins, those of us who chose the underdog will feel something that the cynics will never understand. (If you've ever won something being the underdog, it feels that much sweeter.)
So for those who feel safe living in their padded bubble, keep on living at half empty, half limp, half hearted...
