Uncle Dana just confirmed it's Joanna vs. Andrade is next

no one cares about the cream at the top - it doesnt sell - pretty girls who are e-girlfriends to virgins is apparently what sells - paige was like the top searched fighter in ufc website history or something like that - and shes not a great fighter - would be great if it worked the way you say - but i havent seen any sort of mix between true meritocracy and promoting dollars

Actual fight fans care.

The only people that don't care are fair weather fuck tards.

what post fight show?

Fox Sports hosts a post fight show after every card. There's also a pre-fight show.

It's usually Bryan Stann, Cormier, Dominic Cruz, Michael Bisping, and Tyron Woodley.

And I hear Miesha Tate may get thrown in too!

If this is actually happening, JJ is going to eat her up. Andrade is too simple. She only has a puncher's chance which isn't much at women's strawweight.

Andrade is a former Bantamweight who has taken punches from fighters like Raquel Pennington and won (the girl who retired Miesha Tate). Joanna Jedrzejczyk hits much smaller fighters like Karolina Kowalkiewicz with everything she has for 5 rounds straight and doesn't even seriously hurt them. Technical skill doesnt matter if a fighter can walk right through your punches. Joanna is in a very difficult situation here. The people saying Joanna will win easily are clueless.

lest see how she walks through them elbow's smashing her face and cutting her up. Andra is in a difficult situation, her striking is shit and has never went in to championship rounds. And shes facing someone with ten time the striking pedigree.

bad enough she had a hard enough time with a nobody lik Hill.

You cant use elbows as a primary weapon in a fight, they are a close range tool. Joanna almost got Koed by small Karolina while leaping from way outside to land an ill advised elbow, and colliding with a right hand. If she makes that mistake against Andrade it will be goodnight. She has to throw elbows when she is properly in range, and most of the time she wont be..

Hard enough time against Hill? Andrade completely dominated Hill. And do you know anything about Angela Hill's background? She may be a lousy overall MMA fighter do to her limited grappling skill, but she is also an undefeated kickboxing champion. And she only survived that fight by constantly backpedaling and escaping, as well as knowing how to roll with punches (a skill you see more in Boxing from guys like Mayweather than in MMA). Joanna doesn't fight constantly retreating and escaping, she stays in your face more or less. Cant do that against Andrade. And Joanna doesn't have the punching power to quell Andrade's assault. As i mentioned before, she never even seriously hurt Karolina over 5 entire rounds even though she dominated the striking.

My take on this fight is that it will depend entirely on what strategy Joanna brings. A Joanna who spams the Thai Clinch all night could take this match. But if she tries to simply fight a standard kickboxing match from the outside like she normally does she wont survive the match. People seem to think she can prevail with that second strategy and that is what im arguing against. I hope she does find a way to win, im rooting for her; but im also realistic. Either way this will be a brutal match. And im hoping the people who are saying the fight will be easy as pie dont all of a sudden start saying Joanna was overrated if she loses, because they didnt appreciate the challenge of what she faces. Size matters.
