Nate throws punches really weird. He basically throws them hood gangsta style, like leaning forward with them, hands down, in a really strange fashion. All his punches look like slaps if you know what I mean, even the straight punches.

Only amateurs and mma fighters go hard and want to "win" sparring sessions.

I saw Fonfara asked in an interview about Nate's boxing skills, he didn't seem too impressed.

There’s a difference between following someone’s career and saying what happened in the gym. You’re better than this.

Nate only spars with guys that wear black t-shirts.

There is a reason neither Diaz brother has ever tried to box professionally.

They would both get absolutely battered in my opinion.

Nick is talented, Nate is the overrated one of the two. Nate's weapon is cardio and toughness, that's how he wins on the feet.

Not too hard to believe. He has good boxing fundamentals but is still unorthodox enough to give a seasoned vet trouble.

Andrew Ward said Nate was more technical than Nick he sparred both

I think Ward was sparring Nate when Nate was only 15 lol, but its weird how Nate never went into boxing, Nick had on pro fight but quit, he signed with long time local boxing promoter Don Chargin

Nick was supposed to fight Jeff Lacy but then backed out in 2011 because he landed a big money fight in UFC which was GSP
