UFN 134 Shogun vs Smith

I’m on Stasiak as a medium to large bet. Don’t see why he isn’t a favorite over the random Chinese guy.

Stasiak has a crafty stand up game, although he leaves his hands down a lot he’s pretty tricky with his stance switching.

He’s probably got the better BJJ off his back as well as wrestling game. He’s got a nice snatch single leg.

I guess I could only go off the little I’ve seen of Liu but I’m not impressed. I can see them scrambling around on the mat and Stasiak snatching up a sub.

On another note, anyone from New York or been to NY? I’m currently here on business but I have a 2 full days & a night to explore the city.

I'm going back and forth on this fight since ML is not juiced.

I think the beginning of the fight plays out on the fight since Stasiak seems to love his stand up now but doesn't it concern you that when Stasiak goes southpaw, both hands are at his waist and the two things Liu does throw is the overhand right and left hook and guys just walk through his punches because he has no pop in his hands hence why he gets backed up. He hit Kelleher and Munhoz with uppercuts and they walked right through it. If he does knockout Liu, it's a spinning backfist but those are hard to land. Liu is going to be pressing forward, just that his technique isn't there but the power is.

You might be right about the grappling and scrambles since it's hard to gauge Liu's grappling based off his competition.

Any german and polish to translate

-Training at WCA ( imo the best polish camp )
-He was training among others with Damian Janikowski (best polish wrestler, olimpic wrestler)
-He watched last 3 fights of Meek and analysed
-He likes rare steakes :)
-weights around 205lbs off camp, but feels good fighting in 170 lbs
-doesnt need a sport psychologist

GTD probably makes more sense with Grant/Bermudez. Subs overwhelmingly more likely too occur in the first when both guys are dry, so the first 1.5 rounds is where 90% of the finish risk is.

I'm in complete agreement on Stasiak. Line makes zero sense.

Stasiak isn’t a world beater so of course he’s gonna have holes. Sure the punch is there but can this guy even execute against a UFC veteran? Even Muhnoz didn’t finish him and it took a 3 round brawl against another vet in Kelleher.

All that is moot point as well if the guy gets taken down.

Maybe it’s lazy capping on my part but I can’t find much recent stuff on Liu and from what I’ve seen from old YouTube clips, he ain’t that good.

The guy has no social media or wiki or information anywhere on him. Is there something I don’t know?

Should be a good start to the card with a non-juiced line.

Sadistic saw Liu's resent fights and is staying off the Stasiak line. Check out his posts on this thread.

glover down to -155? is this real life?
Even though Anderson isn't anything special, doesn't Glovers age give you pause?

I havent pulled the trigger on this fight myself yet. You feeling confident here?

Glover's been getting disrespected forever. Dog to OSP. Dog to Cirkunov. Only -200 against Cannonier.

Not saying Glover's a lock, but I cap him closer to -200 here.

I was on Glover in all three of those fights. Going Anderson here, I think he's really developed his game and Glover's just gotten slower and slower. Even the Misha fight was kinda weird, with Glover looking silly on the feet and then Misha looking completely terrible off his back.

damn did not expect the size difference between Nas vs Marc UFC have them listed as the same height but its not even close =/
