UFC/USADA Testing Numbers and Summaries (Updated 4th October)

i understand, but this meldonium gate started in march 8 with Sharapova, i cannot understand that an Athlete would continue after that date.

Might have thought he wouldnt be tested, might have taken it prior to march.

Just checked and he was tested week of 27th January

So if that test negative (and assuming it was analysed for meldonium) then he took it post 27/1

holm most tested all time? they really salty about that ronda win lol

Well that was well timed results from WADA..

So basically, its considered positive (or normal results management in play) if any of the following applies

For samples collected between 1st January and 29th February
> 15 ug/ml

For samples collected between 1st March and 30th September
> 5 ug/ml

For samples collected after 30th September
> Any level

Its considered positive but NADA's are to contact WADA for more detailed analysis

For samples collected between 1st January and 29th February
< 15 ug/ml but > 5 ug/ml

For samples collected between 1st March and 30th September
< 5 ug/ml and > 1 ug/ml

Its considered non-positive if the following apply

For samples collected between 1st January and 29th February
< 5 ug/ml

For samples collected between 1st March and 30th September
< 1 ug/ml

Note: additional stat this week, now includes "test sessions". This will only ever be approximate but it attempts to calculate the number of individual test sessions conducted based on how many weeks an athlete has appeared on that stats (with allowances made when 3+ samples in one week). It wont be exact, but it gives a rough guide

And yes, Lesnar tested again

Test totals, by weight class and by nation

all dates reported here are weekly, generally on a wednesday.

i wonder if the NSAC publish Jones his peds and if they give him a harsher suspension because of his history with them?

next comission meeting is the 18th, so this is all happening well before deadline for agenda submissions. So pretty sure his provisional suspension will be on the 18th meeting. wether they release the substance(s) is another matter, they may do.

its the same day they are putting through the new testing regulations. So very possible they will be in string them all up mood.

"The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 28, 2016. USADA received the testing results from the June 28, 2016 sample collection from the WADA-accredited UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory on the evening of July 14, 2016.

"USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. The Nevada State Athletic Commission also retains jurisdiction over this matter as the sample collection was performed in close proximity to Lesnar’s bout at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.

"Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward."
