UFC Officials: "Conor Was Supposed to Fight @ UFC 219 But Pulled Due to Bellator Incident".

Wow OK...not a push where I'm from. It looks like he just has his forearm out, trying to keep Conor out of the area (as he should??). If a bouncer does that to me at a concert or something, trying to keep me out of a designated area, I'm not losing my shit.

Agree to disagree.
It's also the way he did it. Walks up on Conor, pushes him away, says something and keeps on walking. Seems very very passive aggressive and Marc seemed unsure of what to do. Just poorly handled, but I don't know. Conor shouldn't have been there in the first place but I also can't fault a fighter for reacting to someone putting their hands on them like that.

They shouldn't pull him. He didn't anything too major

More likely Conor:

- Decided he'd rather spend time with his family and friends over the holidays rather than go through a fight camp
- It's too soon to properly promote the fight, let alone properly prepare, with only 6 weeks
- Looked at the numbers and realized that the NYE cards are always hit and miss on PPV so he'd rather fight on a date with better potential to draw viewers
- Wanted more money than the UFC was offering, especially with point #2 in mind which is how the UFC "offers" more money

So blame Goddard for Conor's idiotic behavior ?

Goddard put his hands on a spectator. He assaulted Conor. As far as I’m concerned, not only should Godtard have his license revoked, he should be charged with assault. This is a referee we’re talking about.

If they don't strip him and promote Tony to undisputed Champ, this is more a 'punishment' for Ferguson. The NSAC or NYSAC may still sanction him further though I guess.

He did. Conor didn't even acknowledge Marc was there until Marc pushed him. Conor should have been escorted out and punished, but Marc certainly should not have pushed Conor like he wanted a fight. That was a terrible handling of the situation on Marc's part.
It is called a "restricted area"

Conor wasnt suppose to climb in the fucking cage while a fighter was concussed on the ground. Conors not allowed to do whatever the fuck he wants.

SO ANY fan whos not licensed can run into a cage? If a fan runs into a cage with a weapon for example, NO ONE should touch him.Even if they dont have a weapon, No one should lay a finger on them?? What fucking world do you live in? Fighter safety is the most important thing and medics couldnt check either fighter because of that dickhead. Jesus the fight wasnt even over! Theres is one person to blame if this is true and thats Mcgregor.

And?

What about that means Goddard should just push the guy and leave it alone? At least if Marc acted as some sort of security and tried to remove him from the ring it would kind of makes sense. He just makes some passive aggressive push at Conor and moves on like the situation was over.

Conor be like <seedat>

Now he is going to take some bullshit fight with Nate of GSP

Yeah, man. That's a push. Goddard absolutely put his hands on Conor first and for no reason whatsoever. I don't know what people expect from a guy like conor mcgregor when he's pushed??? Again, terrible handling of the situation on Marc's part
Are you seriously trying to say the was a normal response ? He was telling him he shouldn't be in there. If you want to say Marc could've handle it differently then fine, maybe someone could talk about that with him. It doesn't warrant any punishment. Only one person was acting like a complete idiot in that ring and it was Conor who btw wasn't supposed to be in there at all.

The fake punishment to Conor to make it seem like the UFC actually has control over the guy. What this really means is, "We couldn't come to terms with Conor and his outrageous demands to get him on UFC 219 so we're imposing this fake punishment to try and spin it in our favor."

That’ll show him !

It's so fucking hilarious.

LOL....I'm sure you had him all set up on the Dec 30th card alright.

This is all so incredibly transparent.

Conor acted like he is above it all. That is how you fall...

I'm not saying punish Goddard. I'm not even saying Conor shouldn't be punished for jumping in the cage the way he did

But I am saying there was no reason for Goddard to get aggro with the guy like he wanted to fight. Goddard seemed unsure of what to do which is understandable, but once you push a professional fighter and get aggressive the way Marc did you have to expect the fighter to react.

Lmao I once decided to "rush" my local subway station and didn't realize until it was too late that half of the platform was actually overtaken by angry guys in the military uniforms.

Trust me - Conor learned what's a restricted area in an easy way. Being shoved to the chest is nothing

he rather push and slap people in the face and get judicial problems than defend his title

he put his forearm out

like holy shit what are you seeing in this video that i can't, if that's a push then conor threw his best left straight afterward and goddard shrugged it off like a mosquito bite
