really? Ok so we will go physical prime vs physical prime.. when shamrock was in his physical prime people where striking with open palms and didn't know the difference between an ankle lock and a toe hold
When Brock was in his physical prime you had boxers like JDS and grappling studs like frank Mir
Prime vs prime like if you were to go back in time and grab shamrock from say 96-98 and grab lesnar from the mid 2000's what you would have is a dead Ken shamrock and a beast of a man drinking beers in the cage
did you really say "really" ?

Ken was already past his physical prime in Pride, dude...

"and didn't know the difference between an ankle lock and a toe hold"...in Pancrase... you´re funny...

It would be like Tito v. Ken, except Ken would be slammed and punched a little harder.

ok grab Ken from pancreas and grab the Brock who fought at UFC 100 and see what that gets you
Im actually not discussing this match-up with you, Im discussing your claim that Ken was in his prime against Ken, and that the Pancrase dudes were clueless about subs (part of them were [the American & Dutch strikers] tbh, in the 1st 10 events...)

dude the fighters from that org, the top fighters of that org would be made mincemeat by the currently ranked 20th fighter in their respective weight class... simply because the skill level is way more evolved
No hard feelings though
I'm all about repping the shamrocks
What...are....you....talkin´...about...

Understand that Pancrase was a different Org. with a very specific Fight Configuration.
Saying something like "and didn't know the difference between an ankle lock and a toe hold"...in Pancrase... shows that you dont know what you´re talkin´about..

If there was a roster or a time when a roster knew quite a bit about subs, and especially leg locks... it was fore sure in Early Pancrase (or Rings, naturally).
You couldnt compete there without working on your submission arsenal, and even the American & Dutch [pure] strikers, like Tiger White, Bas, Mezger, Semmy, Maurice...etc... HAD to learn about leg locks.
COMPULSORY.

Those dudes were breathing leglocks (armbars too), so please, watch the fights b4 bashing this generation.

This means that if you take someone like Lesnar (and his primitive, one-dimensional skill set) back to Pancrase (where Ken was legit IN HIS PRIME), he would be completely schooled.

i really don't want to insult you but if you truely think that there is any fucking version of Ken shamrock that beats brock leasner in anything outside of thumb war then you're seriously delusional as fuck.
ok you understood nothing.

no I totally do understand everything you are saying. Brock maybe a one trick pony but that one trick combined with his size and strength is more then sufficient to batter Pancreas ken Rings Ken, UFC ken, wwe ken,wcw ken, bellator ken, orphanage ken, highschool ken, any fucking version of ken gets butchered by Brock leasner...
even pride Ken
I mean...You know about...Pancrase´s ruleset?

Prime Lesnar destroys any version of Ken Shamrock easily. This wouldn’t even be competitive fight.

On a lot of roids maybe, but then, Brock has roids too.

Here's my "prediction" of this nonsense matchup.

Damn Tito fucked him up

Ken Shamrock has never beaten someone relevant or who later became relevant in his entire career.

Brock got gifted all his oppurtunities but he did okay against the best fighters in the world. Randy might have been in his mid 40's, Frank Mir might have been post accident and he might have only finished Shane because the ref kept the fight going and Shane was gassed which is normal for HW's but he still BEAT elite HW's. Ken's only win in the open weight era was over Kimo in a reunion fight.

You have to acknowledge that lesnar was competing and winning top fights when the talent pool was just so much deeper overall than pancrase.

But here we´re talkin´about a specific fight configuration that required a specific skill set.
