Though it's hard to imagine he can regain his 2010-late 2013 form. That has to be the greatest anyone anywhere has ever played. Current Messi is only 2nd to that Messi.

Current Messi also plays a different position with different teammates.
Messi was on a roll, and had a top-form Iniesta and a top form Xavi, with Puyol behind him.

Losing Puyol has been hard because he swept so much. Pique's not that guy. Bartra may be that guy. We'll see.

But the past two games have been so amazing for Barca. This is the best I've seen them play since 2011.
