This guy has to be one of the worst in terms of fight IQ

Why was he going for a takedown on Rua when he had him hurt from strikes? Why was he going for stupid kimuras that are easily defended and end up with him on the bottom on the ground?

He did the same thing vs Rua that he did vs OSP.

I though the same when Cheick Kongo fought Velasquez... He was tagging and rocking him but for some strange reason Cheick kept tryng to grapple him and getting fiucked every time in the process...

Takedown against a striker with more subs than TKOs

Ed herman did the same against shields. I really believe if herman would have stuck to striking he would have taken Jake out but he tried to clinch with him after he hit him the whole fight

Needs a better camp. AKA Thailand seems more like a boot camp to get fit and spar.

It's actually stupidly common for guys to jump to clinch or wrestling when they get a dude hurt, rather than keeping separation so they can keep lasering in shots. Pedro is part of a majority of fighters who do this.

It's why it stands out so much the way Izzy Stylebender stays ice cold and picks shots.

He has potential, but like you said, acts and fight like a moron. Haymakers only, moving forward only, pushing for the KO all the time.

Shogun countered Pedro when he tried to end the fight with a flurry, that's why he changed his mind and tried to grapple instead.

because its a higher percentage move to go for a choke when a guy is dazed than to stop a guy with strikes whos nearly impossible to stop?
    its a smart move
