Does anyone have experience with both cuts?
I currently have a XL size Classic Cut shorts. The XL Classic Cut is said to be for 32" waist and is 16" long. I'm not particularly lean, so when I wear the XL Classic Cut, I get a bit of the "muffin-top" effect, with my belly fat somewhat flaring from above the waistband. The tightness feels comfortable enough though. And the length of the shorts feels just right.
I'm thinking of buying a Competition Cut. The XL Comp Cut is also said to be for 32" waist and is 16" long. However I've read somewhere in this forum that the waistband for the Comp Cut is gentler than the Classic Cut. I'm not too keen on getting the XXL because it's 17" long and I very much prefer a shorter length.
TL;DR
So my question is:
Is the waistband for the 32" XL Comp Cup somewhat looser than the vs 32" XL Classic Cut?
Are the lengths for both XL Comp Cut and Classic Cut exactly the same for both XL sizes?
