Yeah, what the hell was that?

Worst episode of the season.
At first, I liked the episode because of the interesting concept of the antagonists. It was very Silence-like. But towards the end, it was clear where they were going. I didn't like it halfway in and beyond.

Also, I know people with less critical jobs who act more responsibly. You don't go on a bender and get trashed the night before going in to work with dangerous chemicals.

...actually, you know what? Fuck this episode.

@Loiosh

Also another thing... I refuse to believe a member of an advanced race of beings capable of creating vehicles that can traverse the entirety of time and space can't cure blindness, or find a device or group who can.

We boring and mundane humans have a halfway cure NOW.

Fucking Moffat-level writing.

Well, yeah. They even mentioned something along those lines a few episodes ago when it first happened, talking about how the TARDIS can sure just about anything, and blindness wouldn't be a problem.

They did mention that? Why is he still blind then? Did they forget?

Maybe to make Bill feel better.

"Don't go all gooey on me, it's temporary."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Once we get back to the TARDIS..."
"The TARDIS?"
"Mmm hmmm. I've got stuff in there that'll cure anything. Failing that, I think I've got some spare eyes somwhere, they're from a lizard, but I'm sure they'll fit."
Maybe he was just keeping her calm.

They never did explain why he "would never see anything ever again" and was still blind. And why his eyes looked better but didn't work.

@Dragonlordxxxxx

How is Fargo season 3 going?

They haven't shown it here yet

Is it as good as season 1 and 2?

Fargo series is a solid 9/10
Better than 2. Ewan McGregor is doing well acting in it. Ewan McGregor isn't bad either.

Its steadily decent but the payoffs aren't that great.

We need to get a honest to goodness ,brand spankin new, made in the USA, no spoilers havin game of thrones thread up and running soon.

Not sure if anyone has been keeping up with the Leftovers. Only one more episode, and I'm still just as confused as ever. Can't wait :p

First Teaser Trailer for HBO's THE DEUCE Chronicles the Rise of the Porn Industry

Look at it this way... she's a seasonal Big Bad, so it's likely one season and done.
I was hoping she'd get nekkid on Banshee. But alas... :( Awesome finale for her character though.

That it was.

If Berlanti knows what he is doing he should be getting the fight choreographers brainstorming for the big season 3 finale fight scene. Send Melissa and Odette to those German guys who prepped Keanu for John Wick for a few of weeks.

Season 1 was Supergirl and J'onn vs Non and Indigo. It was OK.

Season 2 was Supergirl vs Superman which was pretty good and Supergirl vs Rhea which was so, so.

Season 3 should be a third of the episode devoted to Kara and Reign going at it.

Fun fact. After I was praising that magnificent fight scene of Odette in her Banshee finale, I was contacted by one of the fight coordinators of the show and he thanked me for my words.

Am I the only one that didn't like that they made Supergirl stronger and more powerful than Superman? I'm all for female empowerment and so on but that was too much pandering. Oh well. Moving on. She might be stronger and more powerful but her Fight IQ still sucks.

That's cool.

Those guys deserve every praise. That show wouldn't have worked at all without the fight scenes and the fight choreography backing up all the insanity.

I looked at it from the Doylist perspective.

It's her show. Of course she was going to win. If they weren't willing to make her stronger than Superman they wouldn't have written in a fight scene to begin with.

She's already getting in character it seems. ;)

Not to drag this out but one last thing I will say is I agree she should win because it's her show but at least do it in a believable manner. The set-up was already there with the introduction of the Silver Kryptonite (Supes not at full strength, Supes not thinking and fighting clearly). Or Kara just outsmarting him.
