Adrian Pasdar (Heroes, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will play the charismatic capitalist Morgan Edge, a ruthless real estate developer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants (and what he feels he deserves). The DC villain’s big plans for National City instantly put him at odds with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath).

Carl Lumbly (Alias, Southland) embodies the classic DC character M’yrnn J’onzz, the father of J’onn J’onnz, the Martian Manhunter (David Harewood). A pacifist religious leader on Mars, M’yrn pushes his son in unexpected ways. Actor Lumbly is no stranger to the J’onzz family, as he’s voiced the Martian Manhunter on the Justice League animated series.

Yael Grobglas (Jane the Virgin, Reign) portrays DC character Psi, a psychic villain who uses people’s own minds against them. Psi’s agenda puts her on Supergirl’s radar, and their meeting will affect the Girl of Steel in surprising ways.

Emma Tremblay (Elysium, The Judge, The Giver, Wayward Pines) plays Ruby, a smart, independently minded National City kid who’s fascinated by Supergirl and ends up in jeopardy because of it.

Supergirl returns for its third season Monday, October 9, at 8/7c on The CW.

SMALLVILLE Star Tom Welling Joins the Cast of LUCIFER for Season 3

Superman is now going to dance with the devil.

Tom Welling — best known for his 10-season run as Clark Kent on The CW’s Smallville — has signed on for the cast of Fox’s Lucifer for its third season.

Welling will play Marcus Pierce, an accomplished police lieutenant. While he’s reserved and well-respected, like Lucifer (Tom Ellis), he’s charming, charismatic and handsome. So when Pierce starts developing a connection with Decker (Lauren German), the devil comes out in Lucifer.

Welling, who starred in the film The Choice, also directed several episodes of Smallville and served as an executive producer on the series.

When Lucifer returns for season three, Lucifer has resolved the problem of Mom aka Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) — but he must confront the problem of figuring out who kidnapped him and why his angel wings have returned.

In its second season, Lucifer averaged a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.83 viewers in Nielsen’s Live+Same Day numbers. Across all platforms, Fox reported that the series averaged 8 million viewers per episode. It was renewed for a third season in February.

Lucifer returns for Season 3 on Fox on October 2 at 8pm.

Anyone been watching the second season of shooter?

how is it?

Watched the first two episodes of The Mist. Found it to be too dragging. The main characters are annoying. The male lead is miscast. He was great as a villain in Person of Interest and Allegiance. The Mist fits better as a two-hour movie and the show is just stretching it, filling it with dull moments to kill time.
