Also good to know I'm not the only one who watches Get Shorty.

This would be the point where I "cough" or something as this kind of show is totally my wheelhouse, but somehow I missed that it even existed.

Just caught the first episode, and really liked it.

I'm loving Chris O'Dowd as a tough guy.

Was Halt and Catch Fire always drowning in melodrama?

What they're actually doing seems pretty irrelevant.

Has anyone seen the first season of Taken?

It seemed really bad so I didn't, but it made it to the end of a season so I may check it out.

Any feedback on it would be appreciated.

I almost want to see it just for Jennifer Beals, who has to be CGI, because she isn't aging. Seriously, she's 51 and looks 30.

I've watched the first few minutes of Taken but wasn't able to finish it. The reason why I haven't deleted the season yet is I think I saw a review saying it was pretty decent.

Hmm, maybe I should start a Get Shorty thread to create awareness for the other people.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, O'Dowd as a tough guy was a pleasant surprise.

If I have to describe the show, I would say it's Get Shorty but with a Breaking Bad flavor.

Haven't seen the latest episode of Halt and Catch Fire but I'm not surprised about the melodrama complaint. They've been doing that for the past few seasons. This is what killed Suits for me.

The 69th Annual Emmy Award Winners

HBO cleaned up.

I watched Little Big Lies and didnt think much of it, but the acting was superb so Im not surprised at all those acting wins.

The acting in HandmaidsTale must be good too. Gotta check that out.

Congrats to Black Mirror for winning an Emmy by using some kind of loophole since the Emmy's didn't think the show was worthy of any other nominations.

Veep cleans up every year, I watched one episode but wasn't really feeling it. is it that good?

I watched it all, I don't know how or why it got renewed. If I am being generous i'd say it's decent at best.

Handmaid really should not have won.

Good show, but i never thought it hit great

Neil Gaiman has shared the first look at David Tennant and Michael Sheen as a demon and an angel in Good Omens.

The image, via Twitter, features Tennant dressed up as the demon Crowley and Sheen as the fussy angel Aziraphale.

"They are amazing. This is them in the opening scenes, 11 years ago, in St James's Park. David and Michael, demon & angel," Gaiman tweeted. Check out the photo below.

Good Omens, a limited-series based on Gaiman's first novel, tells an apocalyptic story set in 2018 where humanity awaits final judgment. However, Aziraphale and Crowley have grown used to living amongst the humans and decide to go looking for the Antichrist during the end of the world.

The series will consist of six one-hour episodes and will debut on Prime Video in 2018, and will also air on the BBC in the UK following its premiere.

Another Gaiman novel that was recently adapted for television is American Gods. For IGN's thoughts on the first season of the Starz series, read our review.

THE STRAIN

Series finale was meh. Love the premise of the show but there's just something wrong with the way the story progressed and the character developed from the very start of the series.

Yes, Zack finally died. Wish it was in a more comeuppance kind of way or in a horrible death.

They should have let us see Quinlan's actual death, it would have had more impact if they did.

Its amazing how hearing a show wins an emmy, makes me never want to watch it.

So I am currently watching the Ken Burns documentary airing on PBS The Vietnam War about the Vietnam war and I just finished Episode 4 and what an amazing documentary. I can safely this will end up being the definitive documentary about the Vietnam war
