Turkey has been angry the US is supporting the Kurdish YPG group, who is fighting ISIS.
Turkey sees the YPG as a separatist threat.
So in retaliation the Turkish State run news agency published the location of secret US bases in Syria, including the number of units at 1 post and presence of French special forces.

NATO member Turkey...
Now ISIS and every other Jihadist knows where the US is based at.

"Turkey reveals secret US military locations in Syria"

" Turkey's state-run news agency on Wednesday leaked the positions of 10 U.S. military posts in northern Syria, drawing swift criticism from the Pentagon.

Anadolu Agency published a map of 10 locations it said were U.S. military posts. The agency said the points are “usually hidden for security reasons,” but then listed the bases, including two airfields and eight military outposts.

The report also lists the specific districts where the U.S. military is stationed. In one case, Anadolu revealed the number of U.S. soldiers and French special forces stationed at a post in Ayn Issah."

" A Turkish news agency provided a map and details of U.S.-run military outposts in northern Syria, prompting the Pentagon to say Wednesday it had relayed “concerns” about the article to Ankara.

“The release of sensitive military information exposes coalition forces to unnecessary risk and has the potential to disrupt ongoing operations to defeat ISIS, said Army Maj. Josh Jacques, a U.S. military spokesman, using an acronym for the terrorist group called the Islamic State. "

Does anyone even like Turkey?

no but they are enormously useful as a buffer for """refugeees""" by letting them into safe country but not letting them into the EU proper

this betrayal of our trust goes far beyond that though

Moslms cant stop from being moslems.

They are what they are. Only a military choke chain kept them at all some what civilized all those years past.

Longtime proud supporter of the YPG.

And the US is going ahead with the sale of the F-35 to Turkey.

In the very near future: Turkey will use the F-35 as bargaining chip against the US, i.e. threatening to let the Chinese and Russians look at its technology if the US does not agree to Turkish demands.

Our government can't be soo dumb as to not forsee the F-35 sale posing major problems , but they are going ahead with it. It seems our establishment deliberately creates problems for the US. Just like they ignored Pakistan when it was working on nukes.

Surprisingly bold. Someone clue me in - on a scale of 1-10, how unusual is this move?

Damn Turkey. Damn.

I was with you on that flotilla in 2010.

But now I hope the Don pushes your shit in real good.

It's unusual but not out of line for the escalation of hostility from Turkey. It's basically a theocracy now.

Why are they still in NATO?

Did we get our nukes out yet?
