Ultimate has innovated again for the 25th edition of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). If in the latter the winner (Tim Elliott) won the right to play the flyweight belt (up to 57kg) against Demetrious Johnson, this time the prize will be in cash only. The novelty was due to the criterion for the definition of the participants. With the competition being played only by half-way (up to 77kg), the prerequisite to enter is to have already participated in some edition of the reality show, since it has not been champion, according to the Combate.com with sources close to the organization .
The fighters have already been screened to participate in the program, which will have their recordings started next month. Frenchman Mehdi Baghdad (TUF 22), Brazilian Dhiego Lima (TUF 19) and American Hayder Hassan (TUF 21) are some of the names that have been contacted by Ultimate.
The report still does not have information on who will be the coaches who will lead the TUF 25
