Those keeping tabs on President Trump's diet know that Wendy's and McDonald's are staples. While campaigning, Trump inhaled Filets-o-Fish and Big Macs and snacked on Oreos.
He'd then
wash it all down with a Diet Coke.
Just how much diet soda the president consumes, though, was revealed Saturday by the New York Times,
which reported that Trump has a button to summon household staff for one of the 12 Diet Cokes he drinks each day.

Stroke or dementia
People who drank diet soda daily were three times more likely to develop stroke and dementia than those who consumed it weekly or less, according to a study
published in April in the journal Stroke.
The
study followed 2,888 people aged 45 and over for risk of stroke and 1,484 people 60 and over for dementia over 10 years. They were participants of the Framingham Heart Study, in which several thousand men and women
have taken regular health tests since the 1970s.
The study found those who consumed at least one artificially sweetened drink a day, compared to less than one a week, were three times as likely to have an ischemic stroke from blood vessel blockage. They were also three times as likely to be diagnosed with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease. The effect of diet sodas persisted even if the researchers controlled for factors such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

Honestly, that amount of artificial sweeteners, etc, etc should disqualify one from HOLDING THE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION IN THE WORLD...............................................
I mean...c'mon now.
He has a Diet Coke button on his desk to summon Diet Cokes.........................

President Trump has a button on his desk in the Oval Office that summons a butler to bring him a Coke.
In two recent interviews, Trump showed off the button.
“Sitting across from
Donald Trump in the
Oval Office, my eyes are drawn to a little red button on a box that sits on his desk,”
The Financial Times’ Demetri Sevastopulo writes. Sevastopulo jokingly asked Trump if this was the nuclear button.
“No no, everyone thinks it is,” Sevastopulo says Trump responds, and then uses the button to order a Diet Coke.

In their revelatory book "Trump Revealed," the Washington Post's Mike Kranisch and Marc Fisher wrote more extensively about Trump's "battery" theory of energy:
After college, after Trump mostly gave up his personal athletic interests, he came to view time spent playing sports as time wasted. Trump believed the human body was like a battery, with a finite amount of energy, which exercise only depleted. So he didn't work out. When he learned that John O'Donnell, one of his top casino executives, was training for an Ironman triathlon, he admonished him, "You are going to die young because of this."
