I don't understand how a society can be so self-destructive as to elect someone like Trudeau as head of state. He is even worse than Obama.

I can understand another national leader opposing a different nations 'first' policy, for strategic reasons. But, Trudeau is not a Canadian first politician so that probably isn't the case. He's a globalist first, and anything to do with nations or sovereignty plays second fiddle to that.

While he is a globalist, this is more about free treade and opening NAFTA. A major part of Canadian policy is to bypass Trump and deal directly with US federal and state politicians.
