toughest movie scenes to watch....

that dancing scene in silence of the lambs
you know which one im talking about

I hate to be that guy who thinks he's privy to the ultimate answer but seriously in this case I am.

The rape scene in irreversible has got to be the hardest to watch scene in film period. It's a 10-12 minute, unbroken rape scene and it's extremely gruesome. It will disgust and infuriate you beyond belief. It may even give you adult nightmares as you worry about any female relative for weeks after witnessing it.

also not a film but an hbo series OZ, when Adebisi rapes Shibetta

come to think of it, looks like 90% of answers here are some sort of rape

Maybe it was just puberty, but King Kong went from like half the size of a building to like twice the size in the span of the franchise coming to the US. I'm calling PED use on that motherfucker.

He's top of the observatory in that shot, it's not the whole building. Here's him scaling the side:

Damn, homeboy actually grew during the climb. That's about 3 stories high, so maybe 30 ft. The faceripper monkey was only like 4 ft,

Not reading the thread.........But Steve-O getting paper-cuts in one of the Jackass movies.

Artax death scene :(

Shit, forgot about that one. We used to have that on VHS.

Not difficult, but the most gratifying scene in any movie ever was Inigo Montoya stabbing the dude and saying "I want my father back, you son of a bitch".

Y'all got me wanting to watch half these film just to experience teh feels ;(

Was going to say this. The part that infuriates me the most about it is how you see that fucker in the background come across this crime and he runs away.

I just couldn't do that. It would haunt me for all eternity if I didn't do whatever I could to stop it.

Crazy fact, that was actually unintentional. A crew member accidentally walked into the shot and the director decided to keep it in.

When the brothers get whacked Casino and in Grave of the Fireflies when Seita steals the tamato and get caught and finally makes it back to the shelter and finds Setsuko.

When Charolette Bit the Dust.

Or when Davy Crockett Bought it at the Alamo.

All were hard to take.

When DDL beats the shit out of LDC in gangs of new york.

Also when casey affleck punches the shit out of jessica alba in some movie they were in.

When piggy gets the boulder dropped on him in lord of the flies. Savage bastards

It doesn't bother me now, but I remember that being one of first movie scenes to truly disturb me when I was younger. Especially afterwords when they're burying them alive, and you see Pesci is still breathing when you see the dirt cover his mouth.

Yeah, that's pretty bad, and that actually happened. It was

And that actually happened. It's based off this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Spilotro

"It was, at the time, suspected that Spilotro and his brother Michael were called by Samuel Carlisi to a meeting at a hunting lodge owned by Spilotro's former mob boss, Joey Aiuppa. Original reports stated the Spilotros were savagely beaten and buried alive in a cornfield in Enos, Indiana.[6]"
