Which is more important for accelleration?
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Horsepower unless you’re talking about 0 to like 2 mph.
Lol I was going to say the same thing.
Torque. Best for about the first 60' or 330' then you're going to need horsepower to get a good 660' time and will really need horsepower for a good 1320' time.
Torque is great if you're a bus or truck driver.
I recently read Toyota's new Direct Shift CVT transmission makes acceleration from stop faster.
