Fighters with some estimated purses are marked with a * in the database. This data should still be considered very close to accurate, as most fighters' purses remain rather steady from fight to fight (unless they ink a new contract in the meantime).

Many top performing fighters get additional bonuses paid out to them that aren't reported, plus the top guys get a cut of the pay-per-view buys for events that they headline

This list is a living, breathing thing - we will be updating it after each UFC event's pay info is released, so check back often.

    (updated after UFC 156)-mma manifesto

    1 Chuck Liddell* $4,320,000
    2 Tito Ortiz* $4,075,000
    3 Georges St-Pierre * $3,572,000
    4 Quinton Jackson* $3,490,000
    5 Michael Bisping* $3,410,000
    6 Randy Couture* $3,045,000
    7 Rashad Evans* $2,997,000
    8 Anderson Silva * $2,871,000
    9 Brock Lesnar $2,825,000
    10 B.J. Penn * $2,800,000
    11 Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira * $2,640,000
    12 Vitor Belfort* $2,219,000
    13 Mauricio Rua* $2,215,000
    14 Lyoto Machida* $2,075,000
    15 Matt Hughes* $2,045,000
    16 Wanderlei Silva* $2,020,000
    17 Forrest Griffin* $1,907,000
    18 Mirko Cro Cop* $1,885,000
    19 Jon Jones* $1,852,000
    20 Frank Mir * $1,433,000

Pretty interesting imo, for the complete list go here-

You aren't adding the ppv cut though. I assume this adding of the night money too right?

There is no way PPV cuts are being considered in that List, Frank Mir would be top 5 probably.

There isn't as big a gap between Machida money and Anderson Silva money as I would have thought

Only one non-champion in the top 10. Hey, if you're not that good of a fighter, I guess it helps to have a smug attitude and be from a market they're courting.

Arlovski: 2.25 millions in two Affliction fights

Looking at this numbers, I think that the UFC is still very far from other sports. Neck and neck with soccer? Wrong. Mayweather also make more in one fights than top UFC fighters in all their careers.

Boxing still pay much better than the UFC, because boxing is build around fighters, not organization. UFC fighters are not getting the fair share.

If we take into account PPV cuts, then Chael Sonnen definitely is on the list, and Brock Lesnar is #1

Well he fought Tito twice, Chuck, Forrest, Lyoto, Jones etc. Some pretty high profile fights.

UFC 92 is #6 best selling PPV of all time i think (UFC)
