You gotta feel bad for Spiderman, nobody believes in the fucking guy, not even Marvel. HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU NEED ROBERT DOWNEY JR!??!

That poster doesn't even follow the Marvel front cover rules.
Hero centred in dynamic pose.
Here we get to enjoy a partial back shot of the film's lead, with far more space devoted to secondary characters that are literally pushing him off to the side.
If this is the real poster, epic fail by their own standards.

Lotta cardinal sins in this poster apart from the one you initially mentioned, the double character.
 
I also like how RDJ takes more space than tom holland in the poster.
 
They might as well have Peter Parker put on the Iron Man suit and shoot webs at ppl ffs while Tony drinks in the background.
 
Michael Keaton plays the Vulture in this film so he is also on the poster twice...

You're looking into it too much Brother. Iron man and Tony Stark are both on it once, each. As well as Spiderman and Peter Parker, and Vulture and Toomes. Spidey is still the biggest character, and with the placement of Parker and Stark it would look weird if Pete were bigger because he's a kid that's half the size of the adult Stark.

Peter Parker should be most of the poster and he should be holding a tiny Tony stark in his hand

Lol. I'll give you that, but make no mistake; Marvel knows what they're doing. They're making a Spiderman film. They're smart by putting Iron Man in it because they want "casual" fans/general movie going public to know this is set in the same MCU they already know and love. This isn't another Sony movie.

Obviously we already know that because we follow all of the production news, rumors, etc. about these films years before they're even released, but not everyone does. Like back in the day I met Frank Mir right after he broke Sylvias arm, but nobody else, other than a very small handful of my friends, and people on here, even knew he was the Champ.

At the end of the day Marvel is making a new Spidey film with a new Spidey. They're making it for us, but they have to make it for everyone else too.
 
Well peter parker is 16, how else is he gonna afford that suit without a sugar daddy??
