Agree or disagree? It's crazy to think how good he is, technical and refined in almost every way. World class striking, movement, defense and grappling. His IQ is amazing, evident by his adjustment in the Cody fight. He has two close split decisions losses, both of which could have easily gone his way. Dude could have been on his 6th title defense if they gave him the nod. Only blemish is the loss to Dodson but other than that, ever since training with Ludwig, TJ has been one of the greatest fighters in the world. In terms of skill, he is up there for sure, slowly getting there with accomplishments and resume. I might get flamed for this but imo, he is the top p4p fighter today.

Time will tell..... he's surely a talented as hell mmartist and throw in the idea that Dom Cruz should've never been awarded decision over Dillashaw-----who knows what we'd be saying about the kid right now.

I hate this place. No threads like this before 217. TJ's been great for years.

He's damn good. I'm not ready to go the full Chael Sonnen on him yet, and he's in a very competitive division, but he was one of my favorite fighters even before he beat CoGar.

The three fighters vying for the 135-pound crown easily make that division the most competitive in the sport. They are all great fighters, and on any given night any of them can beat either one of the other two.

Agree. Before there was Conor McGregor, there was TJ Dillashaw.

He changed striking in MMA, many fighters will tell you when TJ fought Renan Barao they all started changing their approach.

Normally I wouldn't use that word in such a close fight but t.j was champ and was connecting on the more significant blows while Dom danced his way to an undeserved dethrone- ment.
.....so maybe robbed isn't such a bad word in this case.idk

TJ is legit exciting. No wonder DJ wont take the fight. He has the skills to be "Double-Champ" and actually defend.

I really do think TJ and Cody are evenly matched and look forward to a trilogy.

That being said, TJ looked like the baddest man on the planet in the first Barao fight and I'll remember that gem as a MMA fan...

I believe he is the best fighter 135 and below right now in MMA and have believed this since he wrecked Barao the first time. There are about 3-4 BWs and MM that I would say it wouldn't necessarily surprise me if they beat him. I would favor TJ to win over anyone in BW and FLW though.

I agree. He's a phenomenal fighter. Really looking forward to seeing him rematch both Cody and Cruz. I thought he beat Cruz in the first fight. Don't know if we'll ever get to see that rematch now. Seems like Cruz can't stay healthy enough to have more than 1 fight per year.
