If he wins. He “exposes” mighty mouse, becomes a 2 division champ, gets a big paycheck

If he loses theres no shame because
    1) people will call Mighty Mouse Goat And theres no shame in losing to the GOAT
    2) he keeps his 135 belt
    3) he gets. Huge paycheck

    However, if mighty mouse loses:
    1) he loses his only belt
2)people claim that he was overrated and got exposed/only fought cans
3)people will care even less now when he fights because he wont have that “aura” (what ever little aura he has is his only appeal

You can't have it both ways though, as you yourself said if MM wins he'll be regarded as the GOAT.

Every champ is in a similar spot, just one more notch in the belt.

A win against TJ would do a ton to cement MM's legacy.

If he loses then his BW belt loses all credibility. The whole division becomes a joke. So there is a lot to lose for TJ. MM fans are terrified of legit opponents.

Lmao, people won't be calling MM GOAT. People are H-A-T-E-R-S.

They'll be complaining that TJ had to cut too much weight instead. I agree with everything else though. No doubt 5'5 self hating, manlet hating virgins have strategized this plan with TJ for years.

You've just successfully justified why Mouse has been rightfully ducking TJ. If he's going to take that big a risk they should at least pay the guy what he's asking.

You also explained why TJ is so desperate for the fight. It's win win for him.

Funny how people want to paint DJ as a coward, but he's the only one taking the risk.

I want to know why everyone seems so determined to have TJ fight DJ.

TJ's the BW champ, and it's not as if there's no contenders that want to fight for that belt. If TJ wants to vacate and chase the fight with Mighty Mouse, then go for it... I have no problems with that, but I don't see TJ giving up that strap. Otherwise he can fight Cruz, Garbrandt, or Rivera.

No matter what anyone says, TJ vs. DJ is still not going to be a "money" or "super" fight.

Naw MM haters just think nobody was legit after they lose.
Also as a MM fan I really don't think TJ has a chance. He was getting beat by Cody until he caught him, but that aside Johnson doesn't win because of his size he wins because he is well coached and he trusts in that fact.

A champ moving down in weight just makes no sense to me. At best, he beats up a smaller fighter, which means nothing in the grand scheme of things. But what if MM wins? Now they have to have an immediate rematch at 135 so MM can beat him again and get the second title. It would just make more sense to do it at 135 to begin with.

The only way it would be win win for anyone would be if MM fought TJ at 135. Then if he lost people would still say he fought the bigger fighter and that shows guts.

Beating a smaller guy does not “ expose “ shit.

    Well...

It exposes TJ as a fuckin coward.

Whenever a bigger champion challenges a smaller champion and loses, something is lost for the bigger champion. Mainly its prestige of that champion and the division he fights in.
